The old Coupar Angus Health Centre was bought from the NHS in 2017, to turn it into a community hub. After two rounds of COVID restrictions, and some funding dramas, the Hub has taken shape as a modern, energy efficient multi-purpose space suitable for community use. Many thanks to all the people and funders who helped us get to where we are.
The SCH Trustees have worked tirelessly to bring the SCH to where it is today. They oversee all the big SCH decisions that have to be made. Day-to-day running of the SCH is overseen by our Hub Manager, who also oversees our small but excellent collection of Hub Volunteers who help us out. We are expanding so we will be looking for an Assistant Manager shortly.
We want to see the SCH engaging with the local community and vice versa, being a space for groups to come, reduce social isolation and make people healthier. Please contact us, we'd love to hear from you, or pop in and see what's going on.
